Even in a trendy environment, its clear that SOLE is all about the food whether biting into a shrimp lollipop, skewered with sugar cane or delving into a bowl of potato leek soup with black truffle oil, there is something on the menu to cater to the most discerning palate. Cara Seivers   At Home Tennessee Magazine  April 2009

The hushed tone of the lobby was livened up by a piano player in SOLE’s bar area, and cool blue tones of light splashed across the dark wood of the table and banquettes. So take the clean, modern, aesthetic of the lobby and plunge it into a neon-tinged ocean, and that’s how it felt to walk into SOLE for dinner…….From the valet service and the hostess’ kind greeting, to the staff’s knowledge of and excitement about SOLE’s menu, we felt completely at ease. Luckily, SOLE offers a great deal of comfort to visitors in the midst of an economy that’s sorely missing it. Amy Lawrence  MEMPHIS The City Magazine  February 1, 2009

Unlike some of the Beale Street neighbors, SOLE has all of the characteristics of a restaurant found in New York, D.C. or even Miami. The restaurant ambiance is made with its light blue lighting throughout and lines with chestnut wood seating in the bar and dining area certainly makes it well worth the trip in the evening hours. You never know who you might find dining right besides you with the Westin attracting some of the top celebrities and sports figures from its neighboring FedEx Forum.   Erin Zollars   Pointed Magazine
